Construction
The VSY 62 has a steel hull and aluminum superstructure and is being built to meet strictest environmental standards as witnessed by its “ES” certification by ABS (Environmental Safety), the first ever issued by ABS for a yacht.
The naval architecture has been designed by Espen Oeino. The interior designer is Newcruise which is a German based firm along with Gehr Interior as the manufacturer of the interior.

Accommodations
The VSY 62 has a voluminous interior and an even larger exterior. Her accommodations for guests are beautifully executed and arranged with a VIP stateroom on the bridge deck and three large staterooms on the main deck level. The master suite is up and forward on the main deck level with panoramic views over 270 degrees forward. The sixth guest stateroom is below to starboard.
The crew quarters include eight double cabins below and the Captain’s cabin behind the bridge. This makes for a total crew compliment of 16 – 18 on board.
The sun deck is gigantic with casual seating aft and an enclosed gym under the arch. This area has custom equipment, a head and separate shower plus a crew lift from the galley. Forward is a very large pool (4.8m/15’7” x 2.5m/8’2”) with jets so that you can actually swim against the current created. It also has comfortable seating with hydro massage nozzles and underwater LED lights. There is also a large area forward for sunbathing.
Down to the bridge deck there is another head on this deck as well plus an elevator that goes to all the other levels of the yacht. Forward of the bridge is an oval seating area on the foredeck with tables.
The main deck level again has a day head. Besides the seating/entertaining areas and open aft deck there is also a cinema area/game room where 3 – 5 people can relax and watch a movie on a large flat screen.
On the lower level there is one final, sixth stateroom plus the galley and a crew eating area along with a separate crew lounge. The laundry area is all the way forward on this level.
All staterooms are equipped with the Crestron/Lutron cabin control system which offers:
Entertainment and Audio/Video Controls (Satellite TV, Video and Audio library, Navigation Chart, and on board camera system)
Light Controls (Brightness, Scene activation and Fade out control)

Remarks
The VSY 62 is hull # 2 from this impressive builder in the heart of Viareggio. With the support of the finest subcontractors and the pick of their people from the surrounding builders VSY has created a great design that has been beautifully executed.
From the naval architecture of Espen Oeino and the best of support from Newcruise and Gehr interiors this VSY 62 can not be duplicated. Over three years are represented in her at this point. The VSY machinery is unequalled in the market today. From her engineering for acoustics to acoustical privacy and vibration this yacht has had special treatment.
She is highly maneuverable with both a powerful bow thruster and a 360 degree stern thruster with a dedicated C9 Caterpillar power source.
A gigantic sun deck with seating, a big pool, a gym and casual seating aft to her spacious external decks and forward seating areas she offers tremendous space far beyond her substantial size of 1070 GRT.
Her interior furnishings and spaces are well thought out with powder rooms on every level and a great VIP stateroom on the bridge deck. A cinema on the main deck enhances the options on board as well. A real plus to the overall design of this yacht is her elevator from the lower accommodation level to the bridge deck and with three good tenders and lots of room for water sports toys this boat has everything you need.
